The Bandy Wave Bolga Basket is a vibrant and functional work of art, handcrafted by the indigenous Gurune people of Bolgatanga—the craft hub of Ghana. Traditionally used as colanders for separating millet from water, these baskets showcase exceptional weaving techniques passed down through generations.
Each basket is meticulously woven, featuring intricate patterns, textures, and layers. The striking colors are achieved using natural vegetable and mineral dyes, maintaining an eco-friendly and authentic touch. While we uphold high standards of production and quality control within our weaving groups, we also celebrate the individuality and craftsmanship of each artisan.
